		CASTILLO ARABE DE ALBARRACIN INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA El castillo árabe se ubica en el centro del pueblo, en lo alto de una roca, la planimetría es irregular adaptándose a la topografía del terreno, colocando torres semicirculares donde la roca lo permite. En los años 90' se hicieron excavaciones arqueológicas que dirigió Octavio Collado Villalba, y entre 2004-2006 las de A. Hernández Pardos. HORARIOS El Museo de Albarracin gestiona las visitas guiadas al castillo. En Invierno se visita a las 13:00 y 16:00 los sábados y a las 13:00 el domingo; tarifa general 2,50€.				ARABIC CASTLE OF ALBARRACIN HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION The Arab castle is located in the center of the village on the top of a rock, the planimetry is irregular adapting to the topography of the terrain, fortifying with semicircular towers where the rock allows. In 90's archaeological excavations were conducted by Octavio Collado Villalba, and between 2004-2006 by Antonio Hernández Pardos. TICKETS AND TIMETABLE The Museum of Albarracin manages the guides' visits to the castle. In winter we will visit at 1 am and 4 pm; on Saturdays and at 1 am on Sundays; general rate € 2,50.

Se trata de un muro que protege la ciudad, la parte más espectacular es la llamada Torre Blanca, convertida en un mirador y que data del siglo XIII. Hay que recordar que Albarracin disponía de un complejo de al menos 3 fortalezas (Doña Blanca, El Señorío y El Andador) que hicieron de Albarracin una plaza inexpugnable.

La Torre de Doña Blanca de Albarracín, se ubica junto a la iglesia de Santa María, la torre data del siglo XIII, pero las excavaciones arqueológicas han permitido documentar niveles de época andalusí, ha sido restaurada en el año 2001. Es de planta cuadrada con 18 m. de altura de mampostería.

The tower of Doña Blanca of Albarracín, is located next to the church of Santa María, the tower dates from the 13 th century, but archaeological excavations have allowed to document levels of Andalusian era, it has been restored in 2001. It is square with 18 m. (59 ft) height, of rubblework masonry.

La catedral de Albarracín es una construcción del siglo XVI, que se erigió sobre una antigua iglesia románica del siglo XII; en el exterior destacamos la torre de planta cuadrada con remate octogonal, de estilo renacentista; en el interior destaca una única nave con bóveda de crucería gótica y cabecera poligonal, muy bello es el coro, así como las capillas de San Pedro y la de la Virgen del Pilar.

Hay visitas guiadas por la Fundación Santa María de Albarracín de lunes a viernes de 10:30, 12:00, 16:00 y 17:30, los sábados a las 10:30, 12:00, 16:00 y 18:00 y los domingos de 10:30 y 12:00.

The cathedral of Albarracín is a building of the 16 th century, which was erected on an old Romanesque church of the 12 th century; outside we stand out the tower of square plan with octagonal top, of Renaissance style; inside we stand out a single nave with ribbed Gothic vault and polygonal head, very beautiful is the choir, as well as, the chapels of San Pedro and the chapel of the Virgen del Pilar.

AGRIGOS DEL RODENO (ALBARRACÍN)

Los abrigos del Rodeno de Albarracín, disponen de un interesante conjunto de pinturas rupestres datado entre 6.000 y el 2.000 a.C., con bonitas figuras de toros, ciervos, caballos y hombres danzando o cazando.

SHELTERS OF El RODENO (ALBARRACÍN)

The shelters of El Rodeno of Albarracín, have an interesting set of cave paintings dating from 6,000 to 2,000 BC, with beautiful figures of bulls, deer, horses and men dancing or hunting.

		ACCESO A ALBARRACÍN ACCESO La mejor forma de acceder a Albarracín es desde Teruel por la A-23 (salida 124 “Caudé-Albarracín”) ALBARRACÍN: Albarracin se ubica a 38 kilómetros de Teruel.				ACCESS TO ALBARRACÍN LOCATION The best way to access Albarracín is from Teruel on the A-23 (exit 124 “Caudé-Albarracín”) ALBARRACÍN: Albarracin is located 38 Km (23 miles) from Teruel.

El acceso para minusválidos es:

CASTLE: No factible la visita con silla de ruedas. WALLS: No factible la visita con silla de ruedas.

Con silla de ruedas el acceso no es factible a la torre de Doña Blanca (escalera).

Para la catedral el acceso es complicado hay que subir en coche hasta la parte alta de Albarracín (Parking del Castillo) y en silla ir por un estrecho corredor, podrás admirar la fachada, pero no se puede entrar por las escaleras del acceso.

Wheelchair access is not feasible to the tower of Doña Blanca (staircase).

For the cathedral the access is complicated you have to go up by car to the upper part of Albarracín (Parking del Castillo) and on a chair go through a narrow corridor, you can admire the façade, but you can't enter through the access stairs.
