El Palacio dos Tavoras fue construido en el siglo XVII, por orden de Don Antonio Luiz de Távora; actualmente este edificio es la Cámara Municipal de Mirandela; es un edificio de 3 alturas, los remates superiores siguen la estética del siglo XVIII.

Palace dos Tavoras was built in the 17 th century, by order of Don Antonio Luiz de Távora; currently this building is the Town hall of Mirandela; It is a building of 3 floors, the upper top follow the aesthetics of the 18 th century.

La iglesia de la misericordia de Mirandela, es un edificio del siglo XVI-XVIII, la fachada tiene 2 cuerpos y se remata en un frontón curvo, con remates en volutas, coronado de pináculos y una cruz; en el cuerpo superior hay 2 hornacinas y un gran ventanal; en el cuerpo inferior hay 3 puertas, la central coronada con volutas.

CHURCH DA MIERICORDIA (MIRANDELA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of Miericordia of Mirandela, is a building of the 16 th -18 th century, the facade has 2 sections and is finished off in a curved pediment, with volutes tops, crowned with pinnacles and a cross; in the upper section there are 2 niches and a large window; in the lower section there are 3 doors, the central is crowned with scrolls.

PUENTE MEDIEVAL (MIRANDELA)

El puente medieval de Mirandela sobre el río Tua es un largo puente con reformas de diversas épocas, los arcos son completamente distintos de medio punto, rebajados y apuntados; por otro lado algunas pilas tienen tajamares de refuerzo.

MEDIEVAL BRIDGE (MIRANDELA)

The Medieval bridge of Mirandela on the Tua river is a long bridge with reforms of different epochs, the arches are completely different, semicircular, segmental and pointed; On the other hand, some pillars have reinforcement cutwaters.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS:

Para usuarios de silla de ruedas, el Palacio dos Tavoras es factible, tiene rampas y grandes portones; en la iglesia de la Misericordia el acceso tiene un pequeño escalón en la entrada.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED

For wheelchair users, Palace dos Tavoras is feasible, has ramps and large gates; in the church of la Misericordia the access has a small step at the entrance.
