INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El santuario de Santa María del Lluch de Alcira, es un santuario dedicado a la patrona de Alcira, la construcción data del siglo XX, con una fuerte influencia románica; esta construido en ladrillo; en el exterior destacamos la torre-campanario rematada en una pirámide de bronce; en el interior tenemos una planta basilical, y en el presbiterio tenemos un baldaquín barroco de mármol y madera policromada con la Virgen del Lluch.

HORARIOS- ENTRADA

El horario de misas es en invierno, laborables (19:30) y festivos (11:00); mientras en verano (mayo-septiembre) es laborables (20:00) y festivos (9:30, 11:00 y 12:00).

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The sanctuary of Santa María del Lluch of Alcira, is a sanctuary dedicated to the patron saint of Alcira, the building dates from the 20 th century, with a strong Romanesque influence; it is built in brick; outside we stand out the bell tower finished in a bronze pyramid; inside we have a basilica plan and in the presbitery we have a baroque marble baldachin and polychrome wood with the Virgen del Lluch.

The timetable of Masses is in winter, working (19:30) and holidays (11:00); while in summer (May-September) is working (20:00) and holidays (9:30, 11:00 and 12:00).

MURALLA ÁRABE (ALCIRA)

La muralla árabe de Alcira se data en el siglo XII, pero los expertos creen que puede haber elementos de época andalusí del siglo IX. En algunos tramos podemos ver torreones circulares, conserva el almenado y las saeteras; la construcción tiene un fuerte influjo almohade..

ARAB WALLS (ALCIRA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The Arab wall of Alcira dates back to the 12 th century, but experts believe that there may be elements from the 9 th century from Andalusian period. In some sections we can see circular towers, preserve the battlements and the loopholes; the building has a strong almohad influence.

IGLESIA DE SAN ANDRÉS (LA ALCUDIA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de San Andrés de La Alcudia es una construcción de estilo barroco de finales del siglo XVIII; en el exterior destacamos la torre campanario de 55 m. de altura y la cúpula cubierta con azulejo de Manises; mientras la portada tiene un fuerte clasicismo; en el interior destaca la planta de cruz latina, las capillas y la bóveda de cañón con lunetos.

CHURCH OF SAN ANDRES (ALCUDIA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of San Andrés de La Alcudia is a baroque building of the late 18 th century; outside we stand out the bell tower of 55 m. (180,4 ft) of height and the dome covered with tiles of Manises; while the façade has a strong classicism; inside we stand out the Latin cross plan, the chapels and the barrel vault with lunettes.

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

Desde la A-7 (al sur de Valencia) podemos acceder a Alcudia (salidas 371, 373 y 375) y a Alcira (salida 373).

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS:

ALCIRA: Es factible el acceso al santuario de la Virgen del Lluch, gracias a una rampa lateral, accediéndose en coche por la parte posterior del templo. El acceso a la muralla es factible al exterior.

ALCUDIA: Acceso factible desde una rampa lateral a la iglesia de San Andrés.

From the A-7 (south of Valencia) we can access Alcudia (exit 371, 373 and 375) and Alcira (exit 373).

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED

ALCIRA: With Wheelchair access is feasible to the sanctuary of Virgen del Lluch, thanks to a lateral ramp, accessing by car through the back of the temple. Access to the wall is feasible to the outside

ALCUDIA: Access feasible from a side ramp to the church of San Andrés.
