IGLESIA DE EL SALVADOR - MOTA

El Salvador es la iglesia que se ubica junto al castillo, también en ruinas, sobresale del conjunto una gran espadaña, la obra es de sillería irregular y se dataría en el siglo XVI, aunque las reformas del siglo XVIII son muy importantes.

VISITA: Exterior, estructura en ruinas.

CHURCH OF EL SALVADOR - MOTA

El Salvador is the church located net to the castle, also in suins, stands out of the whole a large belltower, the work is of irregular ashlars and would date in the 16 th century, although the reforms of the 18 th century are very important.

VISIT: Outside; structure in ruins.

IGLESIA DE SAN MARTÍN - MOTA

La iglesia de San Martín de Mota del Marqués fue trazada por Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón, es un edificio gótico datado en el siglo XVI, tiene 3 naves y se cubre con bóvedas estrelladas; la fachada es plateresca y en el interior hay una interesante colección de imaginería religiosa.

VISITA: Antes y después de la misa a las 10:00 (laborables, excepto lunes y martes) y 11:45 (festivos)

CHURCH OF SAN MARTIN - MOTA

The church of San Martin of Mota del Marques was designed by Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón, it is a Gothic building dating from the 16 th century, it has 3 naves and it is covered with starred vaults; tha facade is plateresque and inside there is an interesting collection of religious imagery.

VISIT: Before and after the mass at 10 am (working, except Monday and Tuesday) and 11:45 am (holidays).

CASTILLO DE MOTA DEL MARQUÉS

En el subsuelo del castillo se han encontrado restos de la Edad del Bronce, el origen del castillo es el siglo X, del que solo se conserva la torre del homenaje, construida en sillarejo y parcialmente arruinada.

VISITA: Exterior, estructura en ruinas.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS: Acceso no factible para sillas de ruedas a El Salvador y al castillo; si es factible a la iglesia de San Martín.

CASTLE OF MOTA DEL MARQUES

In the subsoil of the castle have been found remains from Bronze Age. The origin of the castle is the 10 th century, of which only the keep is preserved; built in ashlar ans partially ruined.

VISIT: Outside, structure in ruins.

ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED: Access not feasible for wheelchairs to El Salvador and the castle; it's feasible to the church of San Martin.

La iglesia de el Salvador de Tiedra es un edificio de estilo gótico, datado en el siglo XVI, el altar mayor se cubre con bóveda estrellada de crucería; el interior tiene un autentico viaje por la historia del arte de los retablos, tenemos retablos manieristas, herrerianos y barrocos.

The church of El Salvador of Tiedra is a building of Gothic style, dated in the 16 th century, the main altar is covered with ribbed star vault; the inside has an authentic journey through the history of the art of the altarpieces, we have Mannerist, Herrerian and Baroque altarpieces.

		CASTILLO DE TIEDRA El castillo de Tiedra se data en el siglo XIII, tuvo un papel destacado al ser en la Edad Media frontera entre Castilla y León, en la estructura sobresale la poderosa torre de homenaje de planta cuadrada con 28 m. de altura, que aun conserva los matacanes que coronaban la torre; la muralla del castillo tiene almenas y 3 torres circulares. VISITA: Horario de verano (Abril-Octubre) sábados, domingos y festivos la mañana a las 13:00 y las tardes a las 18:00; el horario de invierno (Noviembre-Marzo), sábados, domingos y festivos es la mañana a las 13:00 h. y las tardes a las 17:00 h.				CASTLE OF TIEDRA The castle of Tiedra dates back to the 13 th century, played a prominent role, because in the Middle Ages was the border between Castile and Leon; in the structure stands out the powerful square-shaped tribute tower with 28 m (91,84 ft) of height, that still preserves the machicolations that crowned the tower; the castle wall has battlements and 3 circular towers. VISIT: The summer timetable (April-October) Saturdays, Sundays and holidays the morning at 1 am and the afternoons at 6 pm; the winter timetable (November-march), Saturdays, Sundays and holidays in the morning at 1 pm and afterniins at 5 pm.

La iglesia de San Pedro de Tiedra, es un edificio que data del siglo XVI, conserva buena parte de la estructura de arquerías y una gran espadaña; hay elementos de estilo mudéjar; parte del campanario se apoyaba sobre la muralla que en la Edad Media rodeaba Tiedra.

The church of San Pedro de Tiedra is a building that dates from the 16 th century, retains much of the structure of arcades and a large belltower; there are elements of Mudejar style; part of the belltower rested on the wall that in the Middle Ages surrounded Tiedra.

ERMITA Nª. Sª DE TIEDRA

La Ermita de Nuestra Señora de Tiedra, es un edificio de estilo barroco, debemos de destacar el patio porticado de influencia mudéjar, la hospedería del siglo XVII y la iglesia del siglo XVIII.

VISITA: Suele estar abierto al publico.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS: Acceso no factible para sillas de ruedas a la iglesia de San Pedro (firme irregular, ruinas); pero se puede entrar al resto de monumentos con algunas limitaciones (no se puede subir a la torre del castillo).

HERMITAGE OF Nª. Sª. OF TIEDRA

The Hermitage of Our Lady of Tiedra, is a building of Baroque style we must stand out the porticoed courtyard of Mudejar influence, the hostelry of the 17 th century and the church of the 18 th century.

VISIT: It is usually open to the public.

ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED: Access not feasible for wheelchairs to the church of San pedro (irregular ground, ruins); but you can enter the other monuments with some limitations (you can't climb the castle tower).
