SAN JUAN DE GAZTELUGATXE (BERMEO)

La ermita se conoce al menos desde el siglo XI; tanto en los alrededores como dentro del templo se han identificado sepulturas datadas entre los siglos IX y XI.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS : Horario de la ermita de 11:00-18:00 (martes-sábado) y de 11:00-15:00 (domingos y festivos).

SAN JAUN DE GAZTELUGATXE (BERMEO)

CASTILLO DE BUTRÓN

El castillo de Butrón (Gatica), es un edificio de gran antigüedad, pero evolucionando mucho, en el siglo XIII era tan solo una torre, en el siglo XIV y XV se fue construyendo el primer castillo, en el siglo XVI es abandonado, convirtiéndose en una ruina, será restaurado en un estilo neogótico en el siglo XIX, con el arquitecto Francisco de Cubas.

VISITA: Solo visitable el exterior – Acceso con silla de ruedas al entorno.

BUTRON CASTLE

The castle of Butrón (Gatica) is a building of great antiquity, but evolving a lot, in the 13 th century it was only a tower, yn the 14 th -15 th centuries it was a built the first castle, in the 16 th century it was abandoned, becoming in a ruin, it was restored in a neo-Gothic style in the 19 th century, with the architect Francisco de Cubas.

ACCESO A URIBE : Desde la A-8 coge la salida 8 de Baracaldo entrando en la N-637, continua dirección Bilbao y Donosita, en la salida 18 coger la carretera BI-631, dirección Munguía y Bermeo; desde Munguía es fácil acceder a Butrón por Gatica; y para San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, es mejor coger la carretera de Bakio, que verás en el tramo Munguía-Bermeo.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS : Butrón es propiedad privada pero puedes acceder al entorno cercano; San Juan de Gaztelugatxe solo al mirador, pues el acceso tiene 241 escalones.

ACCESS TO URIBE : From the A-8 take exit 8 (Baracaldo) entering the N-637, continue towards Bilbao and Donostia, at exit 18 take the BI-631 road, towards Munguía and Bermeo; from Munguía it is easy to access Butrón by Gatica; and for San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, it is better to take the Bakio road, which you will see on the Munguía-Bermeo section.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED : Butron is privately owned but you can access the surrounding area; San Juan de Gaztelugatxe alone to the viewpoint, since the access has 241 steps.
