El Castillo de Puebla de Sanabria se data en el siglo XV, es una obra del Gótico, construido por Rodrigo Alonso de Pimentel, es de sillería de granito, destacando la torre de homenaje; el interior se ha adaptado a las funciones museísticas, con audiovisuales y salas de exposiciones.

The Castle of Puebla de Sanabria dates back to the 15 th century, it is a work of the Gothic style, built by Rodrigo Alonso de Pimentel, it is made of granite ashlar masonry; highlighting the tower of homage; the inside has been adapted to the museum functions, with audiovisuals and exhibition halls.

S. CAYETANO (PUEBLA DE SANABRIA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La ermita de San Cayetano es un bonito edificio del siglo XVIII, de estilo neoclásico, en el exterior destacan los 2 gruesos contrafuertes y la espadaña con campana de la fachada; en el interior destaca la bóveda de cañón y el altar con retablo dorado con columnas salomónicas.

Horario, martes, miércoles, jueves y domingo a las 21:00; viernes y sábado a las 21:00 y 21:30.

S. CAYETANO (PUEBLA DE SANABRIA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The hermitage of San Cayetano is a beautiful building of the 18 th century, of neoclassical style, in the outside we emphasize the 2 thick buttresses and the belfry with bell of the facade; inside it emphasizes the barrel vault and the altar with golden altarpiece with salomonic columns.

IGLESIA DEL AZOGUE (PUEBLA DE SANABRIA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Azogue es un edificio del siglo XII, de estilo románico, no obstante, son evidentes las reformas del gótico; en el interior sobresalen las lápidas sepulcrales y la pila bautismal de estilo románico; en el exterior destaca la sillería, el rosetón, el arco gótico de la fachada y una alta torre.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of Nuestra Señora del Azogue is a building of 12 th century, of Romanesque style, nevertheless, the reforms of the Gothic are evident; inside the tombsstones and the baptismal font of Romanesque style stand out; outside it stands out the ashlar masonry, the rose window, the Gothic arch of the facade and a high tower.

El Museo de los Gigantes y cabezudos de Puebla de Sanabria ofrece al visitante una magnífica colección de 10 gigantes y 33 cabezudos, los más antiguos podrían remontarse a mediados del siglo XIX.
