CERRO DE LAS CABEZAS (VALDEPEÑAS)

INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

Es una gran ciudad de la Oretania un pueblo ibero, que habito la zona, la ciudad tenia unas 14 hectáreas, con 1.6 Km. de muralla, de bloques ciclópeos, con bastiones circulares y rectangulares; así como, una serie de viviendas, almacenes y alfares. Cronología de fines del siglo VII al III a.C.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

La entrada es gratuita, horario de verano (mayo-septiembre de 10:00-14:00 y de 18:00-21:00, el horario de invierno (octubre-abril) es de 9:00-14:00 y de 16:00-18:00. www.ciudad-real.es/

ACCESO

La localidad de Valdepeñas se ubica en la N-IV, carretera de Andalucía, el yacimiento esta ubicado en la salida 208.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

It is a great city of the Oretania, and Iberian town, that inhabitats the zone, the city had about 14 Ha., with 1,6 Km (0,994 miles) of wall; of cyclopean blocks, circular and rectangular bastions; as well as housing, warehouses and potter's workshop. Chronology from the end of the 7 th to 3 rd century BC.

LOCATION

The town of Valdepeñas is located on N-IV, highway of Andalusia, the site is located in the same road, signposted, exit 208.

MOTILLA DE AZUER (DAIMIEL)

INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

Tenemos muros de mampostería de hasta 8 metros de altura; la muralla tiene hasta 40 m de diámetro, con 3 espacios amurallados y un gran patio; dispone de un pozo de hasta 16 m de profundidad. Se han identificado además hornos de planta circular, silos de almacenamiento de cereal etc… Cronología de la Edad del Bronce, en concreto entre los siglos XXIII y XV a.C. Las excavaciones de los años 70' y 80' las dirigieron Trinidad Najera y Fernando Molina. Esta declarado BIC.

MOTILLA OF AZUER (DAIMIEL)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

We have masonry walls up to 8 meters (36 ft) high; the wall has up to 40 meters (131 ft) diameter, with 3 walled enclosures and a large courtyard; has a well up to 16 meters (52 ft) deep. We have also circular plant ovens, grain storage (silos) etc... Chronology of Bronze Age, specially between 23th and 25 th centuries BC. The excavations on the 70's and 80's were manage by Trinidad Najera and Fernando Molina. This site was declared BIC.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

La visita se concerta en el Museo Comarcal de Daimiel, son visitas guiadas con traslado en minibús. Entrada 7€, en 3 turnos: Turno 1 (9:30), Turno 2 (11:00) y Turno 3 a las 18:30 (junio-agosto), a las 17:00 (abril, mayo, septiembre y octubre) y 16:00 (noviembre a marzo). La visita dura 2 horas y 30 minutos.

ACCESO

Desde Daimiel coge la carretera a Manzanares, en la rotonda de la autovía A-43 hay que recorrer 7,3 Km., después salirse por una pista a mano derecha y recorrer unos 3 Km. por una pista, primero en perpendicular desde la A-43, y cuando se cruce el curso seco del río Azuer, paralelo al río (dirección Manzanares).

The visit is arranged in the Daimiel Regional Museum are guided tours with a minibus transfer. Rate € 7, in 3 seasons: Turn 1 (9,30 am), turn 2 (11 am) and turn 3 (6,30 pm) from June to August at 5 pm (April, May, September and October) and 4 pm (November to March). The visit lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.

LOCATION

From Daimiel take the road to Manzanares, at the roundabout of A-43 motorway, you have to go for 7,3 Km, (4,5 miles), then leave for a track on the right and travel about 3 Kilometers by a dirt road, first perpendicular from A-43, and when crossing the dry course of Azuer riiver, parallel to the river (direction Manzanares).

MOLINOS DE HERENCIA

Los molinos de Herencia son del (1790), cuando se levantó el primero; en su tiempo Herencia tuvo 11 molinos de viento, hoy día se conservan 7, con su nombre: Dulcinea, La Duquesa, El Ama, Maritornes, Teresa Panza, La Sobrina y La Dueña Dolorida.

ACCESO

Se puede acceder por la A-4 (Madrid-Córdoba) desde Puerto Lapice o por la CM-42. En el cerro ubicado en la carretera de Alcázar hay 4 restaurados.

MILLS OF HERENCIA (HERENCIA)

The mills of Herencia go back to (1790), when the first mill was built; in that time Herencia had 11 windmills, but today only 7 are preserved, which have their own names: Dulcinea, El Ama, Maritornes, Teresa Panza, La Sobrina and La Dueña Dolorida.

LOCATION

You can to go from A-4 (Madrid-Córdoba) taking the exit of Puerto Lapice; or by CM-42. In the hill located in the road of Alcazar de San Juan there are 4 restored.
