CASTILLO DE ATIENZA

INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

El castillo de Atienza se ubica sobre un alto cerro, dispone de 2 murallas y 2 aljibes, así como una gran torre de homenaje, visible desde toda la comarca; es un castillo románico y se data en el siglo XII.

The castle of Atienza is located over a high hill, has 2 walls and 2 cisterns, as well as a large keep, visible from all the region, is a Romanesque church and is dated in the 12 th century.

LOCATION

From Sigüenza (village near to A-2 Madrid-Zaragoza), take the CM-110 to Atienza.

		ERMITA DE Sª COLOMA (ALBENDIEGO) INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA Dispone de ventanales con celosías, son especialmente originales los de la cabecera de la iglesia, que tiene 3 ábsides; también destacan los canecillos por su originalidad. Es un edificio románico de los siglos XII y XIII; mientras la puerta sur se data en el siglo XV. ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS Acceso libre, llaves en el pueblo, en el Bar. ACCESO Desde la N-II por Alcolea del Pinar, allí coger la CM-110 con la ruta Sigüenza y Atienza, después la carretera de Aranda, y después la carretera de Condumios; para llegar a Albendiego. La ermita esta a 300 m. del pueblo, desde la entrada del pueblo, hay que girar 2 veces a la izquierda y todo recto. ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS Visita factible para sillas de ruedas.				HERMITAGE Sª COLOMA (ALBENDIEGO) HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION It has wonderful windows with lattice work, are very original the windows of the head of the church, that has 3 apses; also highlights the corbels very creative. It´s a Romanesque building from 12 th and 13 th centuries, while the South gate is dated in the 15 th century. TICKETS AND TIMETABLE Free access, pay the keys in the town (Bar). LOCATION Access from N-II from Alcolea del Pinar take the CM-110 the route Sigüenza and Atienza, then the road to Aranda, after the road to Condemios for arrive to Albendiego. CASTILLO DE RIBA DE SANTIUSTE

INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

El castillo se ubica en un cerro, es de sillarejo, con una muralla adaptada al cerro, con torreones, aljibes y patio de armas. Cronología del siglo IX, muy reconstruido en los siglos XV y XIX.

Propiedad privada solo se visita el exterior.

ACCESO

El castillo de Riba de Santiuste, se encuentra cerca de Sigüenza, pues es una pedania de Sigüenza, se accede por la N-II por Alcolea del Pinar, donde se coge la CM 110 que va a Sigüenza y después la CM-110 a Atienza y Riba de Santiuste.

The castle is located on a hill, was built with rubblework, the wall is adpated on the hill, with towers, cisterns and a courtyard of arms. Chronology of 9 th century, very reformed in 15 th and 19 th centuries.

The castle of Riba de Santiuste is located near of Sigüenza, because is a pedantry of Sigüenza, is accessed by N-II by Alcolea del Pinar, where tou can take the CM-110 to Sigüenza and more later the road to Atienza and Riba de Santiuste
