POBLADO DE TEJADA LA VIEJA (ESCACENA DEL CAMPO)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Tenemos un poblado ubicado sobre un cerro amesetado, con fuertes murallas de hasta 4 m. de altura, con torreones y viviendas de cimientos de piedra y alzado de tapial, de planta cuadrada. Cronología de la Primera Edad del Hierro (s. VIII-VI a.C.) para la muralla; hay restos ibéricos, romanos y medievales.

We have a village located on a table-hill, with strong walls up to 4 m (13 ft) of height with towers and houses of stone foundations, and mudwall; of square plan. Chronology of the First Iron Age (8 th – 6 th century BC) for the wall; as well as remains of the Iberian, Roman and Medieval world.

CASTILLO DE NIEBLA (NIEBLA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Tenemos un espectacular castillo y murallas con 5 puertas y 40 torres, dentro puede verse también la Iglesia de San Martín, la antigua mezquita de Santa María de la Granada y el propio castillo. En el interior podemos contemplar salas temáticas que evocan los tiempos del Medievo. Cronología medieval de los siglos XV y XVI.

Horario de lunes a viernes de 10:00-14:00 y de 16:10-20:00, festivos y fines de semana de 10:00-18:00

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

We have a spectacular castle and walls with 5 doors and 40 towers, inside you can also see the church of San Martín, the old mosque of Santa María de la Granada and the castle itself. Inside we can contemplate thematic rooms that evoke the medieval times. Middle Age chronology of 15 th and 16 th centuries.

TICKETS AND TIMETABLE

Timetable is Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 10 pm, holidays and weekends from 10 am to 6 pm.

UBICACIÓN

TEJADA LA VIEJA: Acceso por la llamada Cañada Real del Arrebol, camino que sale por la carretera de Escacena del Campo a Aznalcollar, a unos 10 Km. de Escacena.

NIEBLA: Niebla se encuentra en la carretera que une Huelva y Sevilla (acceso por la A-472, o por la A-49.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS

TEJADA LA VIEJA: Yacimiento no acondicionado para minusválidos.

NIEBLA: Hay algunos escalones en algunos accesos, solo visitable el patio.

LOCATION

TEJADA LA VIEJA: Access by the Cañada Real del Arrebol (cattle track), track in the road Escacena del Campo to Aznalcollar, around 10 Km (6,2 miles) from Escacena.

NIEBLA: Niebla is located on the road between Huelva and Seville (you can access by the A-472 or by A-49).

ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED

TEJADA LA VIEJA: Not suitable for wheelchairs.

NIEBLA: There are some steps in some access; only visitable the courtyard.

Tenemos un dolmen de corredor con cámara y túmulo que cubre toda la estructura, de grandes proporciones (20,90 metros de longitud), muy monumental. Monumento Nacional desde (1931). Cronología del Calcolítico (Primera mitad del 2º milenio). Fue estudiado por Hugo Obermaier en los 20'.

VISITA : Horario de verano (26 de junio a 14 de octubre) de lunes a miércoles (9:00-14:00), jueves y viernes (9:00-14:00 y 18:00-21:00), sábados y domingos (10:00-14:00 y 18:00-21:00). Horario de invierno (15 de octubre a 15 de junio) de lunes a miércoles (9:00-14:00), jueves y viernes (9:00-14:00 y 16:00-18:00), sábado y domingo (10:00-14:00 y 16:00-18:00).

ACCESO : Acceso por la N-431 (Sevilla-Huelva), en el kilómetro 619 entre Niebla y San Juan del Puerto se accede por una carretera (C-31). Desde Trigueros y Beas se puede acceder por caminos agrícolas (C-4 y C-6) y desde Niebla por la C-4 con indicadores en el camino.

We have a corridor dolmen with chamber and tumulus that covers the whole structure, of great measures (20,90 m in length), very monumental. National Monument from (1931). Chronology of the Chalcolithic (First half of the 2 nd millennium). It was studied by Hugo Obermaier in the 20's.

VISIT : Summer timetable (June26 to October 14) from Monday to Wednesday (9:00-14:00), Thursday and Friday (9:00-14:00 and 18:00-21:00), Saturdays and Sundays (10:00-14:00 and 18:00-21:00). Winter timetable (October 15 to June 15) from Monday to Wednesday (9:00-14:00), Thursday and Friday (9:00-14:00 and 16:00-18:00), Saturdays and Sundays (10:00-14:00 and 16:00-18:00).

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El yacimiento es Bien de Interés Cultural desde (2002). hay unos 11 monumentos megalíticos, el yacimiento se divide en 5 zonas o concentraciones de sepulcros.

En líneas generales son sepulcros de corredor y cámara. Cronología del Neolítico-Calcolítico, con una fecha que oscila entre el 3.000 y el 2.500 a.C.
