CASTILLO – CASTEL DE MUR

Ubicado en un cerro, el castillo aunque pequeño, tiene altos muros y es uno de los más antiguos y mejor conservados que existen en la península ibérica, es un castillo roquero, pues sus cimientos se alzan sobre la peña rocosa del cerro.

Located on a hill, the castle of Mur, although small, has high walls and is one of the oldest and best preserved castles in the Iberian peninsula, it is a rocky castle, because its foundations rise on the rocky rock of the hill.

COLEGIATA DE SANTA MARÍA DE MUR – CASTELL DE MUR

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia-colegiata acompaña en el cerro al magnifico castillo, fue consagrada en (1069) impulsada por la donación del conde Ramón IV de Pallars Jussà (1047-1098), es un edificio muy arcaico, pero con elementos románicos como vemos en los arcos ciegos de la cabecera. Dentro sobresalen el pequeño claustro, los ábsides y capillas.

COLLEGIATE OF SANTA MARIA DE MUR – CASTELL DE MUR

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The collegiate church accompanies the wonderful castle on the large hill, was consecrated in (1609) stimulated by the donation of Count Ramon IV of Pallars Jussà (1047-1098), is a very archaic building, but with Romanesque elements as we see in the blind arches at the head. Inside the small cloister, apses and chapels stand out.

		IGLESIA DE LA VIRGEN DEL COLL – SALAS DE PALLARS INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA La Iglesia de la Virgen del Coll sobresale por su fachada-torre de sillería, en el interior sobresale la bóveda de cañón apuntada, mientras las laterales que son obra de una ampliación posterior son de crucería. Además de la iglesia, Salas de Pallars tiene restos de murallas, alguna torre cilíndrica aun se conserva, así como soportales con arquerías y alguna bonita fuente. In addition of the church, Salas de Pallars also has remains of walls, some cylindrical tower is still preserved, as well as with arcades with arches and some pretty fountain. IGLESIA DE SANTA MARÍA DE ISONA

El templo dispone de toda una serie de elementos que nos remiten al gótico hablamos de los arcos apuntados, visibles en la cabecera y en la fachada, la obra esta ejecutada en sillarejo, la fachada dispone de arquivoltas apuntadas y una talla de la virgen y esta coronada con un rosetón.

The temple has a series of elements that refer us to the Gothic, we speak about the pointed arches, visible in the head and in the façade, the beautiful building is executed in rubblework; the façade has pointed archivolts and a carving of the virgin and the temple is crowned with a rose window.

		ACCESO A PALLARS ACCESO Todos los enclaves son accesibles desde la localidad de Tremp, por la carretera C-13 se accede a Castell de Mur desde Guardia de Noguera (carretera de Lleida), por la C-13 se accede a Salas de Pallars (carretera de Puebla de Segur) y finalmente, por la carretera a Coll de Nargó se llega a Isona. ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS Solo unos escalones dificultan el acceso a las iglesias para las sillas de ruedas y el castillo solo es visitable por el exterior.				ACCESS TO PALLARS LOCATION All the sites are accessible from the town of Tremp, on the C-13 you will reach to Castell de Mur from Guardia de Noguera (Lleida road), on the C-13 you will get to Salas de Pallars (Puebla de Segur road), and finally by the road of Coll de Nargó you will arrive to Isona.
