BASILICA DE LA ASUNCIÓN (LEQUEITIO)

Se trata de un edificio del siglo XV de estilo gótico, en el exterior los arbotantes llaman poderosamente la atención y en el interior dispone de varios retablos de gran belleza el retablo mayor gótico sorprende por sus dorados.

ACCESO-ACCESIBILIDAD: Acceso desde Guernica por la BI-2238, o desde la N-&34 y AP-8 desde Astigarribia por la ruta GI-3230, la GI-638 y la BI-3438.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS: Abierta en horario de culto de 8:00-12:00 y de 17:00-20:00 h. Entrada gratuita.

It is a 15th century building of Gothic style, on the outside the flying buttresses call the attention and incide it has several altarpieces of great beauty, the Gothic main altarpiece surprises for its gilding.

PALACIO ABAROA - LEKEITIO

El Palacio de Abaroa es un palacio del siglo XIX, construido por Jose María Abaroa, siguiendo los modelos del Segundo Imperio Francés, con tejado de pizarra tipo mansarda. El pueblo de Lequeitio dispone de otros palacios (Uriarte, Oxangoiti, Uribarri), casonas marineras, torres, murallas cortafuegos y el islote de San Nicolás. Para los amantes de la arqueología industrial les sugerimos visitar los astilleros del Lea (abandonados), cuya estructura en esencia es de los siglos XIX y XX.

The Palace of Abaroa is a palace of the 19 th century, built by José María Abaroa, following the models of the Second French Empire, with a mansard roof. The town of Lequeitio has other palaces (Uriarte, Oxangoiti, Uribarri), seafaring mansions, towers, fire walls and the island of San Nicolás. For lovers of Industrial archeology, we suggest you visit the Lea shipyards (abandoned), whose structure is essentially from the 19 th and 20 th centuries.
