CASTILLO DEL RIO (ASPE)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Tenemos un castillo con unos 7.000 m2, de 12 torres, el recinto interno se divide en 2 por un muro; los muros son de mampostería en el zócalo y de tapial a partir de 1,5 metros. Cronología visigoda (s. V-VI), y andalusí (s. XII-XIII) para el yacimiento; pero el castillo se data hacia el siglo XII. Las excavaciones depararon varias viviendas andalusíes, con patio, establos y almacenes.

CASTLE OF THE RIVER (ASPE)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

We have a castle with about 7,000 m2, of 12 towers, the inside enclosure is divided in 2 by a wall; the walls are of masonry in the foundations and of tapial from 1,5 meters (4,9 ft). Chronology Visigothic (5 th -6 th AD) and Andalusi (12 th -13 th AD) for the site; but the castle dates back to the 12 th c. The diggings provided several Andalusi houses with courtyard, stables and warehouses.

		CASTILLO DE LA MOLA - NOVELDA INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA El castillo de Novelda se ubica sobre un cerro, es una fortaleza de origen musulmán, construida a fines del siglo XII, tenia 8 torres cuadradas; posteriormente, paso a manos cristianas en el siglo XIV, realizando diversas reformas, se construyó entonces una torre triangular de 17 m. de altura. SANTUARIO LA MAGDALENA - NOVELDA

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El santuario de Santa María Magdalena es un edificio modernista catalán, se construyó entre (1918) y (1946), tienen elementos de estilos medievales, del barroco y elementos de la naturaleza; combinándose los azulejos policromados con ladrillos rojizos la piedra calcárea y guijarros del Vinalopó; dentro en el ábside podemos ver el camarín de Santa María Magdalena.

SANCTUARY OF LA MAGDALENA - NOVELDA

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The sanctuary of Santa María Magdalena is a Catalan modernist building, built between (1918) and (1946), have elements of medieval styles, Baroque and elements of nature; combining the polychrome tiles with redish bricks, the calcareous stone and pebbles of Vinalopó; inside the apse we can see the chamber of Santa María Magdalena.

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El castillo de Petrer se ubica en el cerro que domina la ciudad, ocupando la peña rocosa, es una fortaleza de origen musulmán, se construyó en el siglo XII, dispone de un doble recinto amurallado; construido en mampostería, conserva el almenado y algunas saeteras.

HORARIOS-ENTRADA

Horario de martes a viernes de 10:00 a 14:00, los sábados y domingos hay visitas guiadas a las 11:00, 12:00 y 13:00, entrada gratuita.

The castle of Petrer is located in the hill that dominates the city, occupying the rocky rock, is a fortress of Muslim origin, that was constructed in the 12 th century has a double walled enclosure; built in solid masonry, preserves battlements and arrow-loops.

Timetable from Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, Saturday and Sundays there are guided tours at 11 am 12 pm and 1 pm; free admission.

		ACCESO A MEDIO VINALOPO ACCESO Novelda y Petrer se ubican en la A-31 (Albacete-Alicante). El castillo y el santuario se encuentran a 3 Km. de Novelda, hay cartelería indicativa del castillo. El Castillo de Petrer junto a la autovía. ASPE: Acceso a unos 4 Km. al Este de Aspe, junto al río Vinalopó, cogiendo la CV-847 desde Aspe a Alicante, tras pasar el puente del río Vinalopó hay que tomar el desvío de la derecha y recorrer unos 300 metros, subiéndose a la cima a pie. ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS Los castillos del Vinalopó no son accesibles para sillas de ruedas. ASPE: Acceso no factible para sillas de ruedas.				ACCESS – VINALOPÓ MEDIO LOCATION Novelda and Petrer are located on the A-31 (Albacete-Alicante). The castle and the sanctuary are located 3 Km from Novelda, there are signposted. The castle of Petrer stay next to the highway. ASPE: Access around 4 Km (2,4 miles) east of Aspe, next to the river Vinalopó, taking the CV-847 from Aspe to Alicante, after passing the bridge of the river Vinalopó take the turnoff on the right and walk 300 m (984 ft) going up on foot. ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED The castles of Vinalopó are not accessible for wheelchair users. ASPE: Access not possible for wheelchairs.
