TORRE DE NAVALORA (ALCOI)

La torre de Navalora de Alcoi es una construcción que data del siglo XIII, de estilo gótico, construida en sillería (esquinas) y tapial, dispone además de un arco apuntado gótico, se encuentra muy próximo al Museo Arqueológico.

La iglesia de San Jorge de Alcoi es del siglo XX; en el exterior destacan las 2 portadas, la principal de estilo neorrománico tiene 2 torres; en el interior destacan las pinturas (F. Cabrera Cantó) y el órgano del siglo XX, todo con una decoración neo-bizantina.

The church of San Jorge de Alcoi is from the 20 th century; outside we stand out the 2 façades, the main neo-Romanesque style has 2 towers; inside we stand out the paintings (F. Cabrera Cantó) and the organ of the 20 th century, all with neo-Byzantine decoration.

El Museo Arqueológico Camil Visedo de Alcoi es un edificio de estilo gótico valenciano; antiguamente fue la Casa de la Villa; tiene colecciones del neolítico, mundo ibérico, época romana, mundo andalusí; así como colecciones paleontológicas y etnográficas.

The Camil Visedo Archaeological Museum of Alcoi is a building of Valencian Gothic style; formerly it was the House of the Villa; it has collections of the Neolithic, the Iberian world, Roman times, the Andalusian world; as well as paleontological and ethnographic objects.

La iglesia de Santa María de Alcoi es una construcción del siglo XVIII, su destrucción en la Guerra Civil nos privó de un excepcional tesoro pictórico, fue reconstruida a mediados del siglo XX; en el exterior destacan las 2 fachadas y la torre; en el interior destaca la talla gótica de la Virgen de Gracia de Jacomart.

The church of Santa María de Alcoi is an 18 th century building, its destruction in the Civil War deprived us of an exceptional pictorial treasure, it was rebuilt in the mid-20 th century; outside we stand out the 2 façades and the tower; inside we stand out the gothic carving of the Virgen de Gracia of Jacomart.

POBLADO DE LA SERRETA (ALCOI)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El poblado ibérico de La Serreta de Alcoi, se data entre los siglos V y II a.C. en la Edad del Hierro; dispone de restos de murallas y de algunas casas construidas con mampostería. La muralla pudo haberse realizado en el episodio de la Segunda Guerra Púnica.

HORARIOS- ENTRADA

Acceso libre. El ascenso se realiza por una pista forestal que hay junto a la carretera de Benilloba, en la pista hay un pequeño parking a la entrada, el yacimiento se encuentra en la cumbre de la montaña. Hay una excepcional página de Julio Asunción con detalles arqueológicos de gran interés.

LA SERRETA (ALCOI)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The Iberian settlement of La Serreta de Alcoi, dates between the 5 th and 2 nd centuries BC. In the Iron Age; it has remains of walls and some houses built with rubblework masonry. The wall could have been made in the episode of the Second Punic War.

TICKETS AND TIMETABLE

Free access. The ascent is made by a forest track that is next to the Benilloba road; in the track there is a small parking at the entrance, the site is at the top of the mountain. There is an exceptional page of Julio Asunción with archaeological details of great interest.

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

Alcoi se ubica en la A-7, podemos acceder por la salida 448.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS:

ALCOI: Con silla de ruedas el acceso no es factible a la torre de Navalora, ni a la iglesia de Sant Jordi (escaleras, salvo que te permitan acceder por el lateral), ni a la iglesia de Santa Maria (escalones), ni a la Serreta (pista escarpada, estrecha, irregular, empinada).

Alcoi is located on the A-7, we can access by exit 448.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED

ALCOI: With Wheelchair access is not feasible to the tower of Navalora, not to the church of Sant Jordi (stairs, except if they allow you enter by the side), not to the church of Santa María (steps) not to La Serreta (steep, narrow, irregular, steep track).
