El palacio de los condes de Concentaina es una construcción de estilo gótico y renacentista, que se remonta al siglo XIII, construido por orden de Roger de Lauria, gran almirante de Aragón; en el siglo XV se realizaron importantes obras con los condes de la familia Corella; en el interior sobresale la capilla de San Antonio Abad y las pinturas del siglo XVII.

PALACE OF THE COUNTS OF CONCENTAINA (CONCENTAINA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The palace of the Counts of Concentaina is a building of Gothic and Renaissance style, dating back to the 13 th century, built by order of Roger de Lauria, great Admiral of Aragón; in the 15 th century important works were carried out with the Counts of the Corella family; inside we stand out the chapel of San Antonio Abad and the paintings of the 17 th century.

CASTILLO (BAÑERES)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El castillo de Bañeres es una fortaleza almohade del siglo XIII, en la estructura podemos ver dos recintos, construidos con tapial y mampostería y un aljibe andalusí; sobresaliendo la gran torre de homenaje de 17 metros de altura, de planta cuadrada con 3 plantas y realizada en tapial.

Horario de viernes a domingo (11:00-14:00 y 16:00-18:00), entrada 2,50 €.

CASTLE (BAÑERES)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The castle of Bañeres is an Almohad fortress of the 13 th century, in the structure we can see 2 enclosures, built with mud wall and rubblework masonry and an Andalusian cistern; it standing out the great keep of 17 m (55,76 ft) of height, of square plan with 3 plans, realized in mud wall.

IGLESIA DE LA MISERICORDIA (BAÑERES)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de la Misericordia de Bañeres es una construcción de finales del siglo XVIII, culminada en el siglo XIX con una influencia historicista; en el exterior destaca la fachada con frontón triangular, hornacina para la virgen y acceso adintelado; en el interior destaca la nave única con bóvedas vaídas.

The church of Misericordia of Bañeres is a building of the late-18 th century, culminated in the 19 th century with a historicist influence; outside we stand out the façade with triangular pediment, niche for the virgin and lintel access; inside we stand out the single nave with sail dome.

TORRE DE FONT BONA (BAÑERES)

La torre de Font Bona de Bañeres, es una construcción del siglo XVI, esta construida en sillería y sillarejo y alberga el Museo Arqueológico de Bañeres; es un edificio de planta cuadrada con 4 plantas, el museo tiene colecciones desde la prehistoria, pasando por el mundo ibérico y romano, hasta el mundo andalusí.

HORARIOS- ENTRADA

El horario es miércoles y jueves (13:00-14:00 y 17:00-19:00), de viernes a domingo (12:00-13:45 y 17:00-20:00), lunes y martes cerrado. Entrada 1 €.

TOWER OF FONT BONA (BAÑERES)

The tower of Font Bona is a building of the 16 th century, is built in ashlar masonry and houses the Archaeological Museum of Bañeres; it is a square building with 4 floors, the museum has collections from Prehistory, through the Iberian and Roman world, to the Andalusian times.

The timetable is Wednesdays and Thursday (13:00-14:00 and 17:00-19:00), from Friday to Sunday (12:00-13:45 and 17:00-20:00), Monday and Tuesday closed. Ticket €1.

El castillo medieval de Castilla es una fortaleza de origen andalusí, que se remonta al siglo XI, aunque las estructuras actuales datan de los siglos XIV y XVI, la muralla es de planta alargada con muros de tapial, torres cilíndricas, una formidable torre de homenaje (llamada torre Grossa) es del siglo XVI y un área residencial (siglos XIV-XV), no falta el aljibe andalusí.

The medieval castle of Castalla is a fortress of Andalusian origin, dating back to the 11 th century, although the current structures date from the 14 th and 16 th centuries, the wall is elongated with mud walls, cylindrical towers, a formidable keep (called Torre Grossa) is from the 16 th century and a residential area (14 th -15 th centuries), there is no lack of the Andalusian cistern.

ACCESO POR CARRETERA

(ALCOI COMARCA)

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

Se puede acceder a Concentaina por la A-7 (salida 441-442) o por la N-340. Para Castaña puedes acceder por la A-7 (salidas 468 y 471).

Para Penella dirigirse por la A-7 hasta Alcoi y coger la salida 443 con dirección a Benilloba.

LOCATION

You can access to Concentaina by the A-7 (exit 441-442) or by the N-340. For Castalla you can access by the A-7 (exits 468 and 471).

To Penella, take the A-7 to Alcoi and take exit 443 in the direction of Benilloba.

El acceso para minusválidos es:

Con silla de ruedas el acceso no es factible a la iglesia de la Misericordia de Bañeres (escaleras), tampoco la visita a la torre de Font Bona es factible (escaleras), no es factible al castillo de Penella.

Si podrás acceder al Palacio de los condes de Concentaina, pero no subir a las plantas superiores.

With Wheelchair access is not feasible to the church of Misericordia de Bañeres (stairs), not is feasible the visit to the tower of Font Bona (stairs) it is not feasible to the castle of Penella.

You can access to the Palace of the Counts of Concentaina, but not climb to the upper floors.
