CATEDRAL (TUY)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Estilísticamente es un edificio románico-gótico, con bellos capiteles historiados, claustro cisterciense del siglo XIII y un espectacular pórtico gótico de sillería, pionero en España. Cronología de los siglos XII-XV.

HORARIOS- ENTRADA

El horario de verano (junio-septiembre) es de lunes a sábado (10:45-20:00), domingo de (09:45 a 13:00 y de 16:00-20:00). En Primavera (Mayo a Junio) todos los días de 10:45-13:00 y de 16:00-20:00. El horario de invierno (septiembre-mayo) es todos los días de 10:45-13:00 y de 16:00-19:00. Entrada 8 €.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

Stylistically the cathedral is a Romanesque-Gothic building, with beautiful historiated capitals, a Cistercian cloister from the 13 th century and a spectacular Gothic ashlar masonry portico, a pioneer in Spain. Chronology of the 12-14 th centuries.

The summer timetable (June-September) is from Monday to Saturday (10:45-20:00), Sunday (09:45 to 13:00 and from 16:00-20:00). In Spring (May to June) every day from 10:45-13:00 and from 16:00-20:00. The winter timetable (September-May) is every day from 10:45-13:00 and from 16:00-19:00. Ticket €8.

CAPILLA DE SAN TELMO (TUY)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La capilla de San Telmo es un edificio del siglo XVIII, considerada un ejemplar único del estilo Barroco portugués, fue construida por el arquitecto portugués Fray Mateo de Mosteiro; en el interior hay que admirar la cúpula y el retablo mayor.

CHAPEL OF SAN TELMO (TUY)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The San Telmo Chapel is an 18 th century building, considered a unique example of the Portuguese Baroque style, it was built by the Portuguese architect Fray Mateo de Mosteiro; inside you have to admire the dome and the main altarpiece.

La capilla de la Misericordia (Tuy), es una construcción del siglo XVI, con fuerte influencia portuguesa, en el interior destaca el retablo mayor de estilo manierista, así como, las imágenes de la Semana Santa de Tuy.

TUY : Esta localidad se ubica en la ciudad fronteriza de Tuy, junto al río Miño, sobre un cerro.

El mejor acceso a Tuy se realiza desde O Porriño por la AP-9 (peaje) o por la N-550.

TUY : En la catedral tienen colocada una rampa de acero para el acceso de silla de ruedas. El acceso también es factible en San Telmo (pequeño escalón) y en La Misericordia.
