ALCAZAR (ZAFRA)

El palacio de los duques de Feria, es un edificio palaciego, con torres de hasta 24 m. de altura, la construcción es de mampostería con almenas apuntadas. Las obras se inician en el siglo XV de la mano de la familia Suárez de Figueroa y culminan en el siglo XVI. En el conjunto sobresale la torre de homenaje y las galerías de arcos rebajados y en el interior los azulejos góticos.

VISITA : Al ser Parador, solo es visitable el exterior.

ALCAZAR (ZAFRA)

The Palace of the Dukes of Feria, is a palatial building, with towers of up to 24 m (79 ft) of height, the construction is of rubblework with pointed battlements. The works began in the 15 th century with the Suarez de Figueroa family and culminated in the 16 th century. In the set, the tribute tower and the arched galleries stand out, and inside the gothic tiles.

VISIT : Being a Parador, only the outside can be visited.

IGLESIA CANDELARIA (ZAFRA)

La iglesia de la Candelaria o Colegiata de la Candelaria de Zafra, comenzó a construirse en el siglo XVI, la planta es de cruz latina, construida en una sola nave, con ábside de perfil ochavado, fue transformada en Colegiata en (1609) gracias al III Duque de Feria.

VISITA : Hay misas en Verano (junio-agosto), lunes, miércoles y viernes a las 21:00 y en invierno (septiembre a mayo), martes y jueves a las 20:00.

CHURCH CANDELARIA (ZAFRA)

The church of Candelaria or Collegiate of la Candelaria of Zafra, began to be built in the 16 th century, the plan is a Latin cross, built in a single nave, with an octagonal profile, was transformed into a collegiate church in (1609) thanks to the III Duke of Feria.

VISIT : There are masses in Summer (June-August), Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:00 pm and in Winter (September to May), Tuesday and Thursday at 8:00 pm.
