La iglesia de Santa María de Chalamera, data del siglo XII; es de estilo románico, con elementos góticos; en el interior destacamos la planta de cruz latina, así como el sarcófago visigodo; en el exterior destaca la portada de arquivoltas muy profunda, y su pequeña espadaña.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of Santa María de Chalamera, dates from the 12 th century; it is of Romanesque style, with Gothic elements; inside we highlight the Latin cross plan, as well as the Visigoth sarcophagus; outside it stands out the façade of archivolts very deep and its small bell gable.

La iglesia de San Pedro de Fraga, es un templo con mucha historia se sabe que encima de la primitiva iglesia visigoda se construyó una mezquita islámica y sobre esta aún pueden verse elementos románicos, góticos y barrocos; dentro vemos una única nave cubierta con bóveda de cañón; el ábside es románico y la torre tiene elementos de varios estilos.

The church of San Pedro of Fraga, is a temple with a lot of history it is known that on top of the primitive Visigoth church an Islamic mosque was built and on this one can still see Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque elements; inside we see a single nave covered with a barrel vault; the apse is Romanesque and the tower has elements of various styles.

VILLA FORTUNATUS (FRAGA)

La villa Fortunatus (a 4 Km. de Fraga), es un complejo arqueológico formado por una villa romana del siglo II-IV d.C. y una basílica paleocristiana. De la villa destaca el peristilo y los mosaicos, en especial el que tenía el rótulo FORTV-NATVS que ha dado nombre a la villa. La basílica es de 3 naves con ábside cuadrado al exterior y semicircular al interior.

FORTUNATUS VILA (FRAGA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The Fortunatus villa (4 Km from Fraga, 2.48 ft), is an archaeologial complex formed by a Roman villa from the 2 nd -4 th century A.D. and a Paleo-Christian basilica. In the villa it stands out the peristilo and the mosaics, especially the mosaic that had the sign FORTU-NATVS that has given name to the site. The basilica has 3 naves with a square apse to the outside and semicircular to inside.

LA MAGDALENA (TORRENTE DE CINCA)

La iglesia de Santa María Magdalena; construida en sillería; en el interior vemos una estructura de 3 naves de gran altura; en el exterior destaca la fachada con frontón mixtilineo, con portada de estilo churrigueresco, con hornacina para la virgen y un campanario de torre cuadrada.

The church of Santa María Magdalena; built in ashlar masonry; inside we see a structure of 3 high-rise naves; outside it stand out the façade with mixtilineal pediment, of churrigueresque style, with niche for the virgin and a bell tower of square tower.

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

La ciudad de Fraga se encuentra en la N-II, muy cerca de Lleida; por la N-211 con destino a Mequinenza puedes acceder a Torrente de Cinca; mientras por la A-131 (dirección Sariñena y Huesca) se accede a Chalamera.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS:

Con silla de ruedas acceso no factible a Santa Maria de Chalamera (3 escalones), a La Magdalena de Torrente de Cinca (varios escalones). Si es factible el acceso a Villa Fortunatus y a la iglesia de San Pedro (Fraga).

The city of Fraga is located on the N-II, very close to Lleida; on the N-211 to Mequinenza you can access Torrente de Cinca; while on the A-131 (direction Sariñena and Huesca), Chalamera is accessed.

Wheelchair access not feasible to Santa María de Chalamera (steps), to La Magdalena of Torrente de Cinca (several steps). It is feasible the access to Villa Fortunatus and the church of San Pedro (Fraga).
