La iglesia de Larrés es un templo de sillería y sillarejo, el exterior es muy sobrio, con torre cuadrada como campanario; en su interior dispone de un retablo mayor del siglo XVI.

MUSEO DE DIBUJO JULIO GAVIN (LARRÉS)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El Museo de Dibujo Julio Gavín se ubica sobre las ruinas de un antiguo castillo con orígenes en el siglo XI, que ha sido objeto de una concienzuda restauración, para albergar una colección de dibujos, con más de 5.000 obras de 850 autores. La muestra se distribuye en 17 salas con unas 350 obras, que periódicamente se van renovando.

Horario julio-agosto (11:00-14:30 y 16:30-21:00), abril, mayo, junio, septiembre y octubre de martes a domingo es (11:00-13:00 y 16:00-19:00) y de noviembre a marzo es de martes a sábado (11:00-13:00 y 15:00-18:00), domingos y festivos (11:00-13:00, 16:00-18:00). Ticket 3€.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The Julio Gavín Drawing Museum is located on the ruins of an old castle with origins in the 11 th century, which has been the subject of a restoration, to house a collection of drawings, with more than 5,000 works by 850 authors. The exhibition is distributed in 17 rooms with 350 works, periodically renewed.

Timetable July-August (11:00-14:30 and 16:30-21:00), April, May, June, September and October from Tuesday to Sundays is (11:00-13:00 and 16:00-19:00) and from November to March is from Tuesday to Saturday (11:00-13:00 and 15:00-18:00), Sundays and holidays (11:00-13:00 and 16:00-18:00). Ticket €3.

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de San Juan de Busa (Larrede, Biescas) es una iglesia de estilo mozárabe; se construyó en sillería y tiene una única nave; no tiene campanario y la techumbre es de madera a dos aguas; la fachada tiene dos arquivoltas, en el arco exterior puede verse la inscripción árabe de profesión de fe (No Hay Dios sino Alllah).

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of San Juan de Busa (Larrede, Biescas) is a church of Mozarabic style; it was built in ashlar masonry and has a single nave; it does not have a bell tower and the roof is of gable wood; the façade has 2 archivolts, in the outside arch the inscription can be seen Arab of Profession of Faith (There is No God but Allah).

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de San Pedro de Lárrede, es de estilo románico; data de fines del siglo XI; es de planta de cruz latina, ábside semicircular (muy original con arcos ciegos y una faja de bloques cilíndricos verticales), la nave central se cubrió con bóveda de medio cañón; en el exterior sobresale la alta torre; la fachada es un arco de medio punto peraltado (con un cierto aire de herradura).

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of San Pedro de Lárrede, is of Romanesque style; dates from the Late-11 th century; it is of Latin cross plan, semicircular apse (very original with blind arches and a strip of vertical cylindrical blocks), the central nave was covered with a half-barrel vault; outside, the tall tower stands out; the facade is a semicircular arch (with a certain horseshoe air).

TORRAZA (LARREDE)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La torraza de Lárrede o Torre del moro, es una atalaya del siglo XV, posiblemente construida sobre un edificio del siglo X. Es una construcción de sillarejo con muros de 1,5 m. de espesor. Dentro tenemos 4 pisos, con suelos de madera, en la cara sur se ubica el acceso, que se hacía por la segunda planta.

TOWER (LÁRREDE)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The Torraza (tower) of Larrede or Tower of Moor, is a watchtower of the 15 th century, possibly built on a Building of the 10 th century. It is a building of rubblework masonry with walls of 1,5 m. (4,92 ft) of thickness. Inside we have 4 floors, with wooden floors, on the south side is located the access, which was made by the second floor.

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de El Salvador de Biescas es de origen románico, pero gran parte del edificio actual es del siglo XVI, posteriormente tras la Guerra Civil, tuvo que ser restaurada por los fuertes daños que sufrió; el ábside del siglo XII es lo único que queda de su origen románico.

The church of El Salvador de Biescas is of Romanesque origin, but a large part of the current building dates back to the 16 th century, after the Civil War, it had to be restored due to the heavy damage it suffered; the apse of the 12 th century is the only thing that remains of its Romanesque origin.

La iglesia de San Pedro de origen románico, data del siglo XVI, muy reformada en el siglo XIX y XX: esta construida en sillarejo; en el exterior destaca sobre todo la alta torre campanario con reloj; así como los poderosos contrafuertes.

Ayuntamiento de Biescas (974.485.002). El horario de misas es en verano (abril-septiembre), los laborables a las 20:00, mientras en julio y agosto es laborables a las 20:00 y festivos a las 10:00; en invierno (octubre-marzo) es laborables a las 19:00.

The church of San Pedro of Romanesque origin, dates from the 16 th century, very renovated in the 19 th and 20 th centuries; it is built in ashlar masonry; outside stand out especially the high bell tower with clock; as well as the powerful buttresses.

LARRÉS: Se accede desde la N-260 (Jaca-Biescas). Larrés pertenece a Sabiñánigo.

LÁRREDE y BIESCAS: Por Sabiñanigo puede accederse a Biescas y Lárrede por la N-260.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS:

Con silla de ruedas acceso no factible a la iglesia de Larrés y al Museo de Dibujo Julio Gavín (escaleras); tampoco a San Juan de Busa (escaleras), a San Pedro (2 escalones), a la Torraza de Lárrede (escaleras) a San Salvador (escalón) y San Pedro (camino estrecho, empinado y escalones).

LARRÉS: Access from the N-260 (Jaca-Biescas). Larrés belongs to Sabiñánigo.

LÁRREDE AND BIESCAS: From Sabiñánigo you can access to Biescas and Lárrede by the N-260.

Wheelchair access not feasible to the church of Larrés and the Drawing Museum Julio Gavín (stairs), to San Pedro (2 steps), to the Torraza of Lárrede (stairs) to the church of Salvador of Biescas (step) and San Pedro Apóstol (narrow and steep way and steps).
