Biescas: Monumentos y Turismo


		Es una ruta por la comarca del Alto Gállego, nos interesa en especial Larrés y Biescas. LARRÉS: Es una pedanía de Sabiñánigo, ubicada junto al río Aurín, el pueblo aún conserva algunas casonas interesantes, una iglesia y el Museo Julio Gavín. BIESCAS: El pueblo está dividido por el río Gállego en dos mitades. Sus orígenes se remontan al neolítico (dolmen de Santa Elena), los romanos construyeron una calzada, pero las primeras referencias se remontan al siglo XI, por ello domina su patrimonio medieval o posterior, destacando sus iglesias (San Pedro y El Salvador), sus ermitas, casonas y el fuerte de Santa Elena. Si continuamos el Valle de Tena, pasaremos por pueblos como Piedrafita, Tramacastilla; por el balneario de Panticosa, por Sallent de Gállego y finalmente llegaremos a la estación de esquí de Formigal. 		BIESCAS: En la localidad hay poco aparcamiento, no es recomendable adentrarse mucho. Hay un parking pequeño junto al rio Gallego. El aparcamiento es gratuito. 		BIESCAS: La zona donde se concentran los monumentos es el (Centro Histórico). Aquí podemos ver algunos monumentos: (San Pedro y El Salvador). A las afueras podemos ver: (dolmen de Santa Elena). 		BIESCAS: En cuanto al firme tenemos (caminos de cemento, piedra y asfalto). Pavimento recio y compacto. Respecto al desnivel es una zona plana, con algunas cuestas. Hay bordillos en las aceras. Con silla de ruedas acceso no factible a la iglesia del Salvador de Biescas (escalón) y San Pedro Apóstol (camino estrecho, empinado, con escalones). LARRÉS: En cuanto al firme tenemos (caminos de tierra, caminos de grava, caminos de arena, caminos de cemento). Pavimento recio y compacto. Respecto al desnivel es una zona desnivelada. No hay bordillos en las aceras. Con silla de ruedas acceso no factible a la iglesia de Larrés y al Museo de Dibujo Julio Gavín (escaleras). DOLMEN: Mientras el camino al dolmen de Santa Elena de Biescas es compacto, pero irregular (mejor con ayuda). HOTEL – En Biescas el Hotel Tierra de Biescas es una buena opción, acceso sin barreras, 2 estancias adaptadas para usuarios de silla de ruedas y una plaza de parking. Magnífica atención personal. DOLMEN: While the road to the dolmen of Santa Elena de Biescas is compact, but irregular (better with help). 		Si quieres realizar un simple alto en el camino tienes el precioso Parque de la Conchada, junto al río Gállego, con un bonito bosque y bancos. El Balneario de Panticosa, es conocido desde época romana, sus aguas de más de 50º, están indicadas contra el estrés, el reuma y la obesidad, incluso se aplican en tratamientos de belleza. La iglesia de El Salvador de Biescas es de origen románico, pero gran parte del edificio actual es del siglo XVI, posteriormente tras la Guerra Civil, tuvo que ser restaurada por los fuertes daños que sufrió; el ábside del siglo XII es lo único que queda de su origen románico.

El dolmen fue restaurado en (1975), pues quedo dañado en la Guerra Civil.
