MUSEO DE JULIAN GAYARRE (RONCAL)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La Casa-museo de Julian Gayarre es la casa natal de este gran tenor navarro, la vivienda fue ampliada, recoge objetos y documentación del genial cantante, el museo fue inaugurado en (1990).

HORARIOS- ENTRADA

Horario en verano de martes a sábado (11:30-13:30 y 17:00-20:00), en Agosto cierra a las 20:00; domingo (11:30-13:30), lunes cerrado.

El horario hasta el 30 de septiembre es martes a sábado (11:30-13:30 y 17:00-19:00) Desde el 1 de octubre es sábados (11:30-13:30 y 16:00-18:00) y domingos (11:30-13:30).

The Julian Gayarre House-Museum is the birthplace of this great Navarre tenor, the house was expanded, collects objects and data of the great singer, the museum was opened in (1990).

Timetable in summer from Tuesday to Saturday (11:30-13:30 and 17:00-20:00), in August it closes at 20:00; Sunday (11:30-13:30), Monday closed.

The timetable until September 30 th is Tuesday to Saturday (11:30-13:30 and 17:00-19:00). From October 1 st it is Saturday (11:30-13:30 and 16:00-18:00) and Sundays (11:30-13:30).

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de San Esteban de Roncal es un edificio de estilo barroco, con elementos de varias épocas. El exterior es de sillería y destaca su torre de planta rectangular y el soportal de la entrada. Dentro sobresalen los retablos barrocos y la sillería de coro barroca del siglo XVIII.

Horario de otoño: Los festivos a las 13:00. Horario de invierno las vísperas a las 19:00. Horario de primavera, las vísperas a las 19:30. Horario de agosto, laborables a las 20:00 y festivos a las 13:00, horario de julio laborables a las 20:00 y vísperas (desde el 11/7) a las 19:30.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of San Esteban de Roncal is a Baroque style building, with elements from several times. The outside is of ashlar masonry and stand out its rectangular tower and the entrance porch. Inside, the baroque altarpieces and the baroque choir stalls of the 18 th century stand out.

Fall time: Holidays at 1 p.m. Winter time, vespers at 7:00 p.m. Spring time, vespers at 7:30 p.m., August timetable, weekdays at 8 p.m. and holidays 1 p.m., July timetable at 8 p.m. and vespers (from 11/7) at 7:30 p.m.

La iglesia de San Pedro de Burgui, es un templo que data del siglo XVI; en el exterior vemos un edificio muy sobrio de sillería y sillarejo con contrafuertes y torre campanario; en el interior destaca sobre todo el viejo órgano del Monasterio de Leyre.

The church of San Pedro de Burgui, is a temple that dates from the 16 th century; outside we see a very sober building of ashlar masonry and rubblework masonry with buttresses and bell tower; inside stands out the old organ of the Monastery of Leyre.

PUENTE MEDIEVAL (BURGUI)

El puente medieval sobre el río Esca, dispone de 4 arcos de distinto tamaño, tiene el clásico perfil de lomo de asno, es de sillería (dovelas) y de sillarejo, con apeaderos y tajamares.

The medieval bridge over river Esca, has 4 arches of different sizes, it has the classic profile of “donkey loin”, it is made of ashlar masonry (voussoirs) ans rubblework masonry, with stopping places and cutwaters.

IGLESIA DE SAN CIPRIANO (ISABA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de San Cipriano de Isaba, data del siglo XVI, pero en origen era un edificio románico del siglo XIII, época de la que conserva una bella puerta románica. En el exterior sobresale la gran torre rectangular de la que sobresale una torre semicircular, los contrafuertes. En el interior tenemos la bóveda gótica del siglo XV, el retablo mayor del siglo XVI (estilo renacentista) y el órgano del siglo XVIII.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of San Cipriano of Isaba, dates from the 16 th century, but originally was a Romanesque building of the 13 th century, a time of which retains a beautiful Romanesque door. Outside stand out the large rectangular tower of which a semicircular tower go out, and the buttresses. Inside we have the Gothic vault of the 15 th century, the main altarpiece of the 16 th century (Renaissance style) and the organ of the 18 th century.

ACCESO A CARRETERA (RONCAL)

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

Para acceder al valle de Roncal-Salazar recomendamos tomar la salida 65 de la A-21 (Pamplona-Jaca), y desde allí coger la A-137 (NA-137) que pasa por Burgui, Roncal e Isaba.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS:

Acceso factible a San Pedro de Burgui (con ayuda) y al puente medieval, con firme en buen estado (con ayuda, por la cuesta). Con ayuda podrás entrar en la iglesia de San Cipriano de Isaba y superar el escalón de entrada y los interiores. Roncal es un pueblo bonito con muchas cuestas, con escaleras en la iglesia de San Esteban.

LOCATION

To access the valley of Roncal-Salazar we recommend taking exit 65 of the A-21 (Pamplona-Jaca) and from there take the A-137 (NA-137) that goes through Burgui, Roncal and Isaba.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED

Feasible access to San Pedro de Burgui (with help) and the medieval bridge, with a firm road (with help, along the slope). With help you can enter the church of San Cipriano de Isaba and overcome the entrance step. Roncal is a pretty town with many slopes, with stairs at the church of San Esteban.
