Podemos admirar su Iglesia del siglo XI, con claustro, mandada construir por Sancho III el Mayor, con portadas del siglo XII, todo ello románico completándose el conjunto con bóvedas góticas, siendo el espacio más espectacular la cripta. La cronología de los siglos XI-XII, románica.

HORARIOS-ENTRADA

El horario de primavera (marzo-junio) es de 10:15 a 19:00, el horario de verano (julio-agosto) es de 10:00-19:30, el horario de otoño (septiembre-octubre) es de 10:15-19:00 y el horario de invierno (noviembre-febrero) es de 10:30-18:00, en Semana Santa el horario es de 10:15-19:30. Tarifa general 3,00 €, y visita guiada 3,50€, hay tarifas reducidas.

We can admire the church of the 11 th century, with a cloister, built by Sancho III El Mayor, with façades from the 12 th century, all Romanesque, complete with Gothic vaults, the most spectacular is the crypt. The chronology is 11 th -12 th centuries.

CASTILLO DE JAVIER

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Podemos admirar un bellísimo castillo, con torre de homenaje, aljibe, barbacana, y la singular capilla del Santo Cristo; también tenemos salas con la vida del santo, San Francisco Javier, patrono de Navarra, que fue misionero en Indonesia, Japón y China.

En el siglo X, era solo una torre vigía, creándose un muro envolvente en el siglo XII, después en el siglo XIII se construyeron torres y baluartes, y en el siglo XIV se erigió el Palacio Nuevo.

HORARIOS-ENTRADA

El horario de verano (marzo-octubre) es de lunes a domingo de 10:00-19:00; mientras en noviembre es de lunes a domingo de 10:00-18:00 y en invierno (diciembre-febrero) de lunes a domingo de 10:00-16:00. Entrada general 2,75€. Visitas guiadas.

CASTLE OF JAVIER

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

We can admire a beautiful castle with keep, cistern, barbican and the unique chapel of Santo Cristo; we also have rooms with the life of the saint, San Francisco Javier, patron on Navarre, who was a missionary in Indonesia, Japan and China.

In the 10th century only was a watchtower, in the 12th c. was built a surrounding wall, later in the 13th century were built towers and bastions, finally in the 14 th c. was built the New Palace.

Santa Maria la Real es una iglesia con una espectacular fachada, con representación del Juicio Final. Tiene 3 naves, torre octogonal y bello retablo plateresco. Estilo Románico evolucionado, siglos XII-XIII.

HORARIOS-ENTRADA

El horario de primavera (abril-26 de junio) es de martes a viernes de 10:30-14:00 y los sábados de 10:30-14:00 y de 16:00-18:30; y el horario de verano (27 de junio a 4 de septiembre) es de lunes a sábado de 10:30-14:00 y de 16:00-18:30 y el horario de otoño (5 septiembre a 2 de octubre) es de martes a viernes de 11:00-13:00 y los sábados es de 11:00-13:30 y de 16:00-18:30. Entrada general 2,30€.

CHURCH OF SANTA MARIA (SANGUESA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

Santa Maria la Real is a church with a nice façade, with representation of the Last Judgment, it has 3 naves, octagonal tower and beautiful Plateresque altarpiece. Evolved Romanesque style, 12 th -13 th centuries.

IGLESIA DE S. PEDRO (AIBAR)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de San Pedro de Aibar es un edificio románico del siglo XII, aunque podemos también ver elementos renacentistas (portada); en el exterior tiene gruesos contrafuertes, con un aire muy austero; dentro sobresalen los pilares cruciformes con bonitos capiteles y las naves laterales (cubiertas con bóvedas de cuarto de cañón); en el siglo XVI se añadió el crucero, la capilla mayor y la sacristía; mientras el retablo mayor es del siglo XVII y el órgano del siglo XVIII.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of San Pedro of Aibar is a Romanesque building from the 12 th century, although we can also see Renaissance elements (façade); on the outside it has thick buttresses, with a very austere air; inside, the cruciform pillars stand out with beautiful capitals and the lateral naves (covered with quarter-barrel vaults); in the 16 th century the transept, the chancel and the sacristy were added; while the main altarpiece is from the 17 th century and the organ is from the 18 th century.

ACCESO A LUMBIER

LEYRE: El acceso se hace por la NA-240 (Pamplona-Jaca), desviándose a la altura de Yesa, hay suficiente cartelería informativa para acceder.

JAVIER: El acceso se hace por la NA-240 (Pamplona-Jaca).

SANGÜESA: Para acceder lo mejor es coger la N-240 (Pamplona-Jaca), y en Liedena coger el camino a Sangüesa. Se ubica en el centro de Sangüesa en la calle Mayor 1.

AIBAR: Por la N-240 o la A-21 (Pamplona-Jaca), salida 35.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS

LEYRE: Casi todos los espacios, iglesia, cripta tienen escalones.

JAVIER: Acceso no factible para silla de ruedas.

SANGÜESA: Acceso factible a Santa María de Sangüesa.

AIBAR: El escalón de madera de la puerta, dificulta el acceso.
