POBLADO IBÉRICO DE EDETA - LIRIA

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Tenemos el yacimiento ibérico del cerro de San Miguel, datado en los siglos V al 76 a.C., es un poblado de 10 hectáreas de complejo urbanismo, adaptado al terreno, con chozas de zócalo de piedra y alzado de adobe, con escaleras y cerámica pintada.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

We have the Iberian site of the hill of San Miguel, dating from the 5 th to the 76 B.C., is a town of 10 Ha, with a complex urbanism, adapted to the land, with houses of stone foundations and hard adobe (mud-wall) elevations, with stairs and painted pottery.

YACIMIENTOS ROMANOS - LIRIA

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Tras las guerras sertorianas (76 a.C.), la ciudad de Edeta (cerro de San Miguel de Lliria) es abandonada, y se funda la actual Lliria la nueva Edeta. En la calle San Vicente tenemos los restos de unos mausoleos romanos de planta rectangular, con pilastras e inscripciones y en el carrer del Pla del'Arc podrás contemplar el mojón romano.

HORARIOS-ENTRADA

Los horarios de los mausoleos romanos es en verano (junio-septiembre) de martes a sábado de 10:00-12:00 y de 16:00-17:00, domingos de 10:00-12:00 y en invierno (octubre-mayo) es de martes a domingo de 10:00-12:00, lunes cerrado. El Mojón es de acceso libre.

After the Sertorian wars (76 a.C.) the city of Edeta (hill of San Miguel de Liria) is abandoned, founded in the current Liria the new Edeta. In San Vicente Street we have the ruins of Roman mausoleums of rectangular plan, with pilasters and inscriptions and in Carrer del Pla del'Arc you can contemplate a Roman landmark.

TICKETS AND TIMETABLE

The timetable of the Roman mausoleums are in summer (June-September) from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm and from 4 pm to 5 pm; Sundays from 10 am to 12 pm and in winter (October-May) is from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm; Monday closed. The landmark is free access.

SANTUARIO ORACULAR - LIRIA

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

En el Pla de L'arc, yacimiento ubicado en el casco urbano de Liria y datado en el siglo I, tiene un gran templo oracular de estética griega, así como de termas romanas.

HORARIOS-ENTRADA

El santuario oracular de Mura tiene horario de verano (junio-septiembre) de martes a domingo de 10:00-12:00 y el horario de invierno (octubre-mayo) es de martes a sábado de 10:00-10:45 y de 16:00-16:30 y los domingos de 10:00-10:45. Tarifa 1,20€.

In the Pla de L'Arc located in the old town of Liria and dated in the frst century, we has a large oracular temple of Greek aesthetics, as well as Roman baths.

The Mura oracular sanctuary has a summer timetable (June-September) from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm winter time (October-May) is from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 10,45 am and from 4 pm to 4,30 pm and on Sundays is from 10 am to 10,45 am. Ticket € 1,20.

UBICACIÓN

LLIRIA: Lliria se encuentra a 27 kilómetros al NW de Valencia, se accede por la CV-35.

Al poblado de Edeta se accede por la calle de San Miguel, desde el Carrer del Duc de Lliria hay cartelería.

Los mausoleos se ubican en la calle San Vicente y el santuario en la Partida Mura.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS

LLIRIA: Acceso externo factible para sillas de ruedas en el Santuario oracular y el mojón; pero no factible a Edeta.

LOCATION

LLIRIA: Lliria is located 27 Kms (16.74 miles) Nortwest of Valencia, accessed by CV-35.

To the town of Edeta is accessed by the San Miguel St. from the Carrer del Duc de Lliria there is signage.

The mausoleums are located in San Vicente St. and the sanctuary in Partida Mura.

ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED

LLIRIA: External access suitable for wheelchair in the Oracular Santuary and the landmark; but not suitable to Edeta.
